About my whittier

In a nutshell I am just a local kid who grew up here in Whittier, California. I arrived here in Whittier in 1977 and loved every minute of it. I went to Wallace S Wiggins Elementary School in West Whittier. I then attended Dexter Middle school and then off to Whittier High. I graduated in 1987

I have a sales and marketing background. I have worked for Disney, The Anaheim Angels baseball club, The Mighty Ducks of Anaheim and the Los Angeles Dodgers. 

My experience has allowed me to create a social media platform that includes a podcast, YouTube channel with primary focus on Whittier, California.

The My Whittier concept was created in 2012. I thought it would be fun to talk about growing up in Whittier. I wrote a blog called "The My Whittier Museum" and it highlighted all of the things I loved about growing up here in the 1980's. It ended up striking a cord. There were many Whittier locals that wanted to go down memory lane with me. It started off with a heavy "foodie vibe" but over time it has become a well rounded community brand.
